I enjoyed reading this article. I agree with your points but I must say that I love Ellen so I’m happy she’s the Cover Girl Woman. All the other models and actresses represent less of the population of woman who would use the make-up anyways.

I agree with the sentiment Jen, which is why I absolutely LOVE the Dove “Real Women” campaign. While Ellen is definitely less “glam” than Halle, I would still rather see someone who can’t afford their own personal trainer, chef and make-up artist.

Ellen as the new face of Cover Girl is actually refreshing. She is an attractive woman (probably more to other women) who looks like a regular woman. She isn’t all skinny and filled with silicone so I think that is a much better choice than someone like Halle Barry who is so beautiful that no amount of make up will ever transform us regular gals into.

Heh heh, sadly, the Miss America pageant does not yet require a judge representing the field of trash talk and gossip. It would have been a completely different show! I’m sure Sarah will fit right in. She and FOX have a lot in common. I actually like Ellen, and I agree about her eyes. She is just the last person I think of when I think beauty products!

I was soooo hoping that Perez Hilton would be one of the judges along Rush. Now THAT would have been must-see TV. As for Sarah, she’ll fit in at Faux News perfectly. And Ellen… She does have pretty blue eyes. You’ve got to give her that.
