I Gotta Go To *Spits* Toronto

Don’t have a lot of time to write tonight. I have to pack because I’m going to *spits* Toronto this weekend for work. *spits* Toronto sucks. Montreal and *spits* Toronto have always had a rivalry, but it’s not evenย because I’m from Montreal that I feel this way. Pretty much all Canadians feel this way about *spits* Toronto. I think, deep down, even people from *spits* Toronto feel the same. In any case, the good things about this trip are: I get to drive a truck there and I get to see my dear friend Gaby on Saturday night.

Before I go, however, I want to let you know that you should, you must, you absolutely HAVE to check out WWFC tomorrow evening, 7 pm EST (at least, I think we are in EST. How about we just call it Montreal time?). Why should you stop in? Well, besides the fact that we are cheese-a-licious, we will be having a CONTEST!

Not just any contest, either. The cheesiest, most fantastic contest ever in the history of contests! You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll swoon in utter amazement!

Ok, so maybe I exaggerate ever so slightly.

Come by anyway. And bring a friend.

  • I’m nothing if not a contest ho. I’ll be here. Have a safe trip.

I’d wave at you on your way to *spits* Toronto, but I think *picks nose* Ottawa is out of your way.

  • Nicky, my gorgeous little cheese lover , 7pm Montreal time, is 1 am Ziva time. Don’t worry though, for you, and only for you, I’ll stay up the extra 5 minutes after my bedtime just to be here for your amazing contest, (even if it is *spits* cheesy).

  • Good luck Jayne and thanks!

  • Heheh, don’t be so harsh Dufe! I wouldn’t have called it *picks nose* Ottawa…maybe just *yawns* Ottawa. If you wave in TO’s general direction, I promise to wave back! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Lemmikki, my beautiful little cheese hater, you are truly a generous soul, even for a *chokes* Finn. ๐Ÿ™‚

And for Heaven’s sake, don’t spit in the cheese! You know, if it wasn’t for your greenish skin, three arms and brilliantly wicked mind, I wouldn’t have any reason at all to love you ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Oh Dear, I will try to get here at 4 PM tomorrow. I hope the prize is a homemade video of you, of course. Nothing else would really stir me to compete Nicky. If it’s a bunch of cheese that is the prize, that’s fine, but it wouldn’t make my heart pound.

I know nothing about Toronto, but I’ll take your word (or spit) on it. The only place I’ve been in Canada is Victoria, BC. The Empress Hotel is nice as are the mounted Mounties! And there was a rose garden that was quite pretty. Good salmon too. Pubs were segregated by “couples” and single ladies and “Men”. Weird stuff. But this was back in 1967 when you weren’t even alive I think.

  • Well, what do you know! You already guessed the prize so you win and I’ll send you the video immediately! ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you’ll play anyway, just for fun.

Victoria is a lovely place. Toronto, not so much. I wasn’t alive in 1967, but my older brother was, and he now lives in Vancouver. I was born in 1969, which is strange since I’m only 29! ๐Ÿ™‚

I had no clue you guys were in Canada! And that there was such animosity between Montreal and Toronto. Hate to break it to you, but to Americans, you’re kind of all the same:) (Please don’t hate me for saying that!!!)

  • My daughter Sheila was born in 1970, but her brother John was born in
1967. We took John with us on that trip to Victoria to visit friends.
    Nice place.

I can’t wait to see the video!

I don’t have any friends. I’m a troubled loner. But I’ll visit anyway.

Oh, forgot to mention. I’ve been to Toronto twice. I was disappointed both times. It’s not really much of a city, although I enjoyed the duck tour.

  • I love contests – even though I NEVER win them!

    Go Blue Jays?
