Snow

Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder
Where it’s so white as snow
Privately divided by a world so undecided
And there’s no where to go
In between the cover of another perfect wonder
Where it’s so white as snow
I said hey
Oh yeah
Oh yeah

I’m not going to complain about the 3 000 feet of snow currently being dumped on my fair city. There are people in this world who dream of snow, wish for it with all their hearts, and are not fortunate enough to experience it first hand. So, today, when I saw the 4 000 feet of snow blanketing everything in sight, I decided to appreciate the glory that is winter in Montreal, to rejoice, and to share it with you, dear readers. Welcome to my world.

It's not much, I know, but we find it cosy.

After tunneling my way out of the house, all while humming “Winter Wonderland“, I found my self in front of my driveway.

At first I thought I'd lent the car to my sister, but then I realized I don't have a sister. Then I saw the radio antenna.

I decided it would be a good idea to forgo driving and opted for public transportation instead. By this time, I was on the second verse of “Let It Snow”.

My fellow commuters and I make our way to the bus stop.

After a wonderful day at the office, where nobody bothered me and I got to stare at the gorgeous white flakes swirling around outside my window while I did absolutely no work whatsoever, I came home and decided to impart my love of this glorious weather with my baby boy. He had so much fun playing in the snow while I sang “I’m Dreaming Of A White Christmas”.

Oh. The. Joy.

And only 6 more months of this before summer arrives and ruins it.
