  • Really nice use of light, Mike, and great depth of field. Reading the manual has really paid off.

  • Isn’t the moon made of green cheese? Where’s the green cheese moon for this prompt? I’m so disappointed, CheesyMike.

  • Awwww. Super cute cat!

  • Adorable cat! At first I wasn’t sure if it was real or not. Love that the lighting on the ceiling and colors on the floor complements the cat’s colors.

That must be your new kitty?

  • Were you being a peeping tom cat?

I am drawn to the photo. It makes me feel like a peeping tom. Love the light coming from inside. I think that the lights from houses at night are so inviting. Even though the police have explained to me that people are not actually inviting me in. Sigh. That is one beautiful cat. Come here, kitty kitty!

  • Thank you 🙂

  • And the cat 🙂

  • Thanks, it is helping, but like you mentioned, there are many buttons on them Nikons. They take some getting used to.

  • Yep. Hair-raising even.

  • Nope, just a regular visitor who’s slowly adopting me 🙂

  • I’ll confess. I ate it all. No more green moon cheese for anyone. Ever again. I’m sorry!

  • She’s a charmer all right 🙂

  • Yep, it’s almost like she belongs there, except she’s not mine. This fact doesn’t stop her from making herself at home whenever she wants though:)

  • Always scheming and scheming more…

  • We divided the roles. Do I look like a cat?

    Don’t answer that.

  • Society, huh? With all its rules! What’s up with that?

  • Kitty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Totally.

  • I love how your eye moves towards the light and then SURPRISE…. Fluffeh Kitteh!!!!

  • mikewjattoomanymornings

You never fail to surprise me with your eye for composition, CheesyMike. It be an ordinary shot, a stupid photo, were it not for the cat, which is sitting as if you posed it, which is to say perfectly. As it is, this is a very inviting picture.

  • Cause you can’t go wrong with cats. Ever 🙂

  • Thanks, Mike. She posed for just long enough, but I’m kind of annoyed that I forgot the mop in the corner.Damn it.

  • haha…she’s fluffy alright, and I think she might make a few more appearances!

  • You are a wise man.
