30 Days of Photos IV: Two Birds, One Stone

It’s Day 6 and the prompt is Two Birds, One Stone. I haven’t slept in two days and I’ve started to hallucinate. Yesterday I even thought I saw a talking mushroom who then became my drinking buddy. So when I woke up at 10am in my office cubicle wearing yesterday’s clothes, I realized 2 things: a) I was finally on time for work, and b) I was hungry. Well, it was too late for breakfast and too early for lunch, so I killed two birds with one stone and got an omelette.

(Edit: If breakfast and lunch are the 2 birds, then the stone is the omelette now sitting in my stomach.Ugh.)

Now head on over to Ziva‘s, link up, and see what everyone posted for today theme.

  • Those are interesting looking omelettes. I had a western omelette this morning. Somebody once said you can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. I think it was Chef Ramsey.

  • I could go for an omelette right about now. No cheese, of course.

I love a Denver omelette, and I happen to live in Denver. How amazing is that?

Anyway, when I first looked at your photo, I thought the sign said Deboner. That made me laugh because I have the maturity of a 13-year-old boy, and your post made me laugh even more, especially the part about only being on time for work because you feel asleep there. That is so me.

Nice photo, CheesyMike, and I’m glad the challenge is making your life so difficult. Your pain is my only reward in life.

  • I invented my own omelet recipe. I can’t share it though. Nicky is in love with me enough as it is.

  • I don’t think you can call it an omelette anymore without cheese. We have rules here about that sort of thing here. At least I do.

  • Isn’t it great, to watch us suffer day after day? I’m going to have to try a Denver omelette one day. I have no idea what it consists of.
