Photo Challenges

Today is Day 26 of the 30 Days of Photographs IV, (aka Bob) hosted by Ziva and MikeWJ and the prompt is Rising.

Remember my Laughing Cow cheese spiral? It took me so freakin’ long to get it to stand, that I had to post another picture of it. Rising from the table all a-swirl, gleaming and brilliant.

Yeah, whatever. I got nothing.

  • You are rising to new “cheesy” levels.

  • You’ve got burst of light emitting from the spiral this time so it’s a completely different experience for me. So much more shininess to love.

  • It is well worth another photo, after all that hard work.

  • You glued those, didn’t you? You know there’s something wrong about a cow, laughing or otherwise, eating cheese.

  • I love this shiny spiral of delicious goodness! And it makes me want to eat even MORE cheese!

  • I think that’s a wonderful photo, but it could be that I just think that because I love you.

  • Nicky, my love, my Cheese Whisperer, your talents never cease to amaze me. Marry me?

  • ReformingGeek

That’s fantastic. It’s modern art. Open a studio. Now.

Hee Hee. I got carried away but that did come out nice. Oh, and pizza. It reminds of the pizza slices I had for lunch.

  • I think it is QUiTE impressive and I love the shiny!

  • What a brilliant work of art. It reminds of a Calder sculpture. It belongs in the Museum of Modern Cheese Art.

  • Somehow it looks shinier this time…

  • mikewjattoomanymornings

    Wow, that’s pretty stunning.

No, not the photo. The fact that you’re so desperate that you not only take another photo of a stack of foil-covered cheese wedges, you also try to hype it as “gleaming and brilliant.” It’s as if you once worked in marketing or something.

  • Jackal

Oh I so want to knock that over and smash it to a pulp. What, no I don’t need anger management classes.

  • Jay of The Depp Effect

That’s so funny! I recognised it as cheese wedges immediately, you know. We don’t get Laughing Cow, though, we get Dairlyea. Or a rather wonderful parmiggiano reggiano based one that comes from the Italian deli.

  • Well, I’m trying, in any case.

  • You are too kind. Really. Why are you being so kind?

  • I don’t know about well worth it but what the heck, I’m doing it anyway!

  • I would have glued them if I’d thought of it, dammit. Happy cows make happy cheese, my friend.

  • See, that’s just what I thought! Thanks, sweet thing!

  • It could also be that it’s a wonderful photo AND you love me….

Yeah, no, it’s what you said. Sigh.

  • Yes. Of course.

  • Opening studio now.

Waiting for people to show up.

  • I love the shiny too, Katherine. Thank you!

  • You know. There REALLY needs to be a Museum of Modern Cheese Art. Really.

  • It is shinier, Boom Boom. Because we’re nearly at the end of this thing!

  • You’re just jealous ’cause your goat isn’t gleaming and brilliant.

  • No, of course you don’t. Immediately. 🙂

  • Oh, you really need to try Laughing Cow. It’s sooooo good.

  • I read that as
“We don’t get Laughing Cow, though, we get diarrhea”
But then again, I have a lactose intolerance

  • 🙂

  • I like how it looks like lasers are firing off of it.

  • Dual purposing a photo. Good for you. AND it’s even getting you marriage proposals.
